My schedules are paused or missing from Home
Your schedules are still saved. Home leaves drafts and paused schedules out of its counts and out of Next runs, and shows a notice such as 2 schedules are paused with View paused schedules. Select it, then select Activate on each schedule you want back. A weekly schedule paused after it failed twice counts under Need attention instead.
What you seeβ
- On Home, a notice says how many schedules are paused, for example 2 schedules are paused, with a View paused schedules button. Home shows it only when no connection banner or load error is showing.
- If every schedule is paused or a draft, Active now, Upcoming, Ended and Need attention on Home all show 0, and Next runs says "No runs are coming up. Once you create a schedule, its next runs show here." The setup guide does not show either.
- Or one schedule is missing from Next runs. Next runs lists only the next 3 runs in the next 60 days, and only for schedules that are scheduled, live or running. A schedule that is a draft or paused is not listed, and neither is a fourth run or one that starts after 60 days.
- Or, on the Plans page, a banner says Some schedules are paused.
- Or a schedule counts under Need attention and no longer runs. Every status is explained in Follow your schedules: Home, history and restore.

Why it happensβ
A schedule stops running and leaves Home when it is paused or saved as a draft. That happens when:
- You uninstalled PopAutomate and installed it again. Uninstalling pauses every schedule that was turned on. After you install again within 48 hours, your schedules are back, but still paused. After 48 hours, PopAutomate deletes the store's data if the app was not installed again.
- Your plan changed. When Pro ends, or Shopify puts your subscription on hold, the Free limits apply. PopAutomate keeps the schedules that are running first and the ones that run soonest, and pauses the rest.
- A weekly schedule failed twice in a row. PopAutomate pauses it so it does not keep failing. It counts under Need attention, not under Paused.
- It was saved as a draft. Save as a draft keeps the schedule without running it.
- You paused it yourself with Pause on its row.
Paused schedules do not turn back on by themselves, also not after you upgrade or reconnect your store.
A schedule that has ended is not missing: it counts under Ended.
Fixβ
Turn the schedule on againβ
- On Home, select View paused schedules. Or open Schedules and choose Paused under Show. Drafts are under Drafts.
- Select Activate on the schedule's row. The message Schedule activated appears.
- For a schedule that runs Once and never ran, check its start first. If the start has passed, Activate is refused and the banner This schedule's time has passed appears, with "Pick a new start date and time, then activate it." and Edit dates. Select Edit dates, pick a later Start date or Start time in 3. When, choose Turn it on under After saving, then select Save.
- For a schedule that runs Once and already ran, Activate alone does not make it run again. Select Edit, pick a new start that is still ahead, choose Turn it on under After saving, then select Save. If you do not need the same settings, you can also create a new schedule.
- On the edit page, a paused schedule shows Keep it paused chosen under After saving. Choose Turn it on, then select Save. The message Schedule saved and on appears.
If you see Your plan does not allow another active schedule on Schedules, or Your Free plan limit is reached on the edit page, your plan allows fewer schedules than you want to turn on. See Your schedule is over the plan limit.
A weekly schedule failed twiceβ
In Schedules, choose Needs attention under Show. The schedule's row says "Paused after failing twice in a row. Check the run history, then activate it again." It is not under Paused.
- Select History on its row, then View details on a failed run. Each product shows its result and the reason, for example "This product no longer exists in Shopify."
- Fix the cause in your store, for example reconnect the store or select products that still exist.
- Select Activate on the schedule's row. Only runs after that count: if it fails twice in a row again, it pauses again, and you can contact support.
A blocked run is not a failed run. For example, a Hide or Show schedule stopped because the store has no Online Store sales channel shows a reason on its row and is not paused. See Schedule blocked: add the Online Store sales channel.
Still stuck?β

- the names of the schedules you miss;
- whether you uninstalled PopAutomate or changed your plan recently.
