Make a schedule repeat every week
In step 3. When, choose Every week on chosen days, tick the days, and set a start and an end time for each day. On every ticked day the change starts at Starts at and, when Put everything back at the end is ticked, is put back at Ends at the same day. The schedule repeats until you turn it off, or until the Last day you pick.
Steps
Path: Home > Create schedule > 3. When
- In Home, click Create schedule. Fill in 1. What to change and 2. The change as for any schedule: Choose the products or collections a schedule changes and Schedule a discount that starts and ends on time.
- In 3. When, under Repeat, choose Every week on chosen days. Once is the default and has no repeat.
- Under Days, tick at least one day. The list starts on Sunday.
- Pick Starting from (the first day the schedule can run) and Starts at (the time on each ticked day). Times come in 15-minute steps.
- Pick Ends at. It must be later than Starts at. Keep Put everything back at the end ticked to have everything put back at that time each day. For a discount there is no checkbox: it always ends at that time.
- Optional: pick a Last day (optional). Leave it empty to repeat until you turn the schedule off.

- In 4. Review and save, type a Schedule name and read What will happen. A weekly schedule reads, for example, "Every Friday, from 8:15 PM to 8:30 PM.", then "From …, until you turn it off." and "At each day's end time, the original prices come back." Keep Turn it on under After saving and click Save.

Result
- Saving does not change your store, also when the first day is today. The change starts at Starts at.
- The first run is on the first ticked day on or after Starting from, at Starts at. If today is ticked and Starts at is still ahead, the first run is today; if the time has passed, it is the next ticked day.
- After each run, the next one is the next ticked day at the same time. With Friday and Saturday ticked it runs Friday, then Saturday, then the next Friday.
- The schedule stays on after a run. Schedules shows its Next run.
- The last day's run still happens. After Last day there is no next run.
- With Put everything back at the end ticked, and for a discount, everything is put back at Ends at on the same day, every week. It is not kept until the end of the schedule.
- With Put everything back at the end unticked, the change stays after each run. Ends at then has no effect and No end time is offered.
Time zone
- Every time you pick is in your store's time zone, named at the top of step 3 and again on the review ("Times use Eastern Time." and "Times are in Eastern Time."). PopAutomate takes the zone from your Shopify store and you cannot change it in the app. See Your store's time zone, country and currency.
- Each run starts at the clock time you picked, in that zone. When the clocks go forward or back in your zone, for example in the United States on 1 November 2026, an 8:15 PM start stays 8:15 PM on your store's clock.
- If your store's time zone changes in Shopify, the next start of each schedule that is on moves to the same clock time in the new zone. A start that would then be in the past is not changed, so a zone change never starts a schedule at once.
Rules
- Ends at has to be later than Starts at on the same day, so a window cannot run past midnight. Saving says "The end time must be after the start time." otherwise.
- When you switch a new schedule to Every week on chosen days, Ends at starts at the same time as Starts at, and saving is refused until you pick a later time. This is also true with Put everything back at the end unticked: pick a later time, or No end time.
- An end time is required for a discount, and for any other change while Put everything back at the end is ticked. Saving says "Pick when each day's change ends." without one.
- Last day (optional) has to be on or after Starting from: "The last day must be on or after the first day."
- Starting from cannot be a day before today ("The start has passed. Pick a later time."). Today is accepted, even when Starts at has already passed today: the first run is then the next ticked day. When you edit a schedule and leave Starting from and Starts at as they were, it is accepted.
- There is no daily or monthly repeat, and no "every two weeks".
- A weekly schedule counts as one active schedule on your plan. Your plan's variant limit is checked when you turn it on and again at every run: a run that finds more variants than your plan allows changes nothing. See Your schedule is over the plan limit.
Edit, draft and turn off
- A weekly schedule is not finished by a run. Edit it at any time: saving plans the next run again from the days and times you saved.
- A one-time schedule that has run is finished. It runs again only if you save it with a new start in the future.
- Save as a draft keeps the weekly schedule without running it, and a draft does not count toward your plan. Choose Turn it on and click Save to start it. More in Save a draft, turn a schedule on, and edit it.
- To pause a weekly schedule, click Pause on its row in Schedules. Pausing does not undo a change that is already in your store.
If it did not work
- Saving says Pick at least one day.: tick a day under Days.
- Saving says The end time must be after the start time.: pick a later Ends at.
- A run started at a different hour than you picked → A schedule ran at the wrong time
- A banner says your plan limit is reached → Your schedule is over the plan limit
- The schedule is listed under Needs attention after two failed runs in a row, and its row says "Paused after failing twice in a row. Check the run history, then activate it again." → My schedules are paused or missing from Home
