Status guide: what schedule and run statuses mean
Each schedule has one status, which you see in the list and on its page. Each run has a result, which you see in Run history. The red statuses Disabled and Failed need a step from you.
The buttons that appear with each status are explained in the article "Schedule page guide: every button, status and run". The other screens are in PopAutomate screen guide: every screen and button.
Draft
Draft is a schedule you saved and never activated. It does not run and changes nothing in your store. Open it and click Continue and enable in the banner at the top of the page.
Scheduled
"Scheduled: waiting for its next time." A run starts within about a minute of its time.
Running
Running: PopAutomate is changing the products now, and the count moves forward on the schedule page. You can close the page, and PopAutomate finishes the run on its own. In Run history, the run itself shows Running until it ends.
Why it takes time is explained in the article "Schedule page guide: every button, status and run".
Offer Active
"Offer active: changes applied and waiting to end." The schedule stays like this until the discount ends, or until PopAutomate restores the products at the end time. At the top of the page, "The offer is live and ends …" appears with the end time.
To end it before its time, see the article "End an offer and restore prices now".
Completed
Completed: a one-time schedule that ran and has nothing left to do, like a price change you chose to keep. What changed stays in your store until you change it, or click Restore.
A one-time discount that ends at midnight (12:00 AM) shows Completed after it ends, not Ended.
Paused
Paused: you paused it, or you stopped a run that was in progress. It does not run until you click Activate, and what changed in your store stays.
Disabled
Disabled: PopAutomate could not start the schedule. The reason is written in the banner at the top of the schedule page, with a button to fix it. The reasons:
- Your store connection is lost: every scheduled or running schedule shows Disabled. Click Reconnect. See Store disconnected and schedules paused: how to reconnect.
- "We found no products for it. They may have been deleted or the category is empty." Click Choose products. See Empty category: the schedule found no products in it.
- "The schedule is incomplete, so we can't start it. Check its settings."
- "It failed twice in a row, so we stopped it. Fix the cause and turn it back on." This happens only to repeating schedules, and the schedule stays paused until you click Activate.
The steps for each reason are in the article "A schedule did not run on time: why and how to fix it".
Failed
Failed: the last run of a one-time schedule changed no product. "Run failed" appears at the top of the page. If products did not change, their count and a Retry button appear.
Open the run and read the reason for each product. The article "Some products did not change after a schedule ran" explains what to do.
Ended
Ended: the offer time is over and the products came back, or you clicked End offer now, or the times of a repeating schedule are over. The schedule does not run after that. If you ended it before its time, "You ended this offer early, …" appears.
Run result: Completed
The run result Completed means no product failed. If PopAutomate left some products as they were, their count appears with "left as is".
Run result: Completed with issues
Completed with issues: some products changed and some did not. Open the run and read the reason for each product, then click Retry if it appears.
See Some products did not change after a schedule ran.
Run result: Failed
Failed: no product changed in this run. Open it and read the reason next to each product.
Run result: Didn't run
Didn't run: the run did not start, and its reason appears in the row:
- "Didn't start: the store wasn't connected at the time."
- "Didn't start: the schedule wasn't ready at the time." The cause may also be a lost connection, so check the connection first.
See A schedule did not run on time: why and how to fix it.
Run result: Stopped
Stopped: you stopped this run with Stop execution. What changed before you stopped stays, and the number of products that "didn't run" appears.
Filters on the Schedules list
Above the Schedules list are filters that group the statuses. All always appears. The other filters appear only if they have schedules.
| Filter | Statuses in it |
|---|---|
| All | All schedules |
| Active | Running and Offer Active |
| Scheduled | Scheduled |
| Needs attention | Disabled and Failed |
| Paused | Paused |
| Draft | Draft |
| Completed | Completed and Ended |
