PopAutomate alerts: the bell, email and summary
We alert you in two ways: the bell at the top of the dashboard, and email.
Example
Mohammed's schedule "Friday discount" ran, and 3 products did not change. An email arrived with the subject "“Friday discount” finished with problems: 3 not changed". The schedule also appeared in the bell as "“Friday discount” had issues". Clicking the alert in the bell opened the schedule page. The reason for each product was under Run history.
PopAutomate emails to Salla and Zid stores are in Arabic.
When we alert you
The bell shows the schedules that need you. You get an email if a schedule fails or has issues, or if your Salla store gets disconnected. You also get a summary every Sunday.
The bell
Click the bell at the top of the page to see Notifications.
What you see in the bell:
| What you see | What it means |
|---|---|
| "«…» didn't run" | The schedule did not start, for example because the connection to your store was lost |
| "«…» failed" | The run failed and no product changed |
| "We couldn't put all of “…” back" | Products are still changed in your store after the last restore attempt. Open the schedule and click Restore |
| "“…” had issues" | A run in the last 7 days had products that did not change. Below it you see how many, for example "3 products didn't change" |
- Click any alert to open the schedule page.
- The dot on the bell means the list has alerts, not that they are new. Opening the list does not clear it.
- Up to 6 alerts appear. When there are none, you see "No notifications."
- The bell refreshes when you open Home or the Schedules list, or reload the page.
Emails
| Email subject | When you get it |
|---|---|
| "“…” failed" | A run failed or did not start, with the reason |
| "“…” finished with problems: … not changed" | A run had products that did not change, with the first 5 of them |
| "“…” ran: … changed" | Every successful run, only if you turn on After every run |
| "Salla disconnected: your schedules are paused" | The connection to your Salla store was lost. You get it once per disconnect. Zid stores do not get this email |
- Alerts go to your account email.
- If you turn off Email, you get no alert emails and no summary. Alerts still appear in the bell.
- The "✅ نجحت حملتك: …" email ("Your campaign succeeded") is separate, and these settings do not change it. You get it after every run, at its scheduled time or after Run it now. Open Run history to see what actually changed.
Summary
The summary is an email with what ran, what had problems and what is coming up in your schedules.
- With Weekly, you get the summary every Sunday at 9 AM in your account time zone.
- You can choose Daily to get it every day at 9 AM, or None to get no summary.
- If nothing ran, nothing needs you and no schedule is coming up, we do not send the summary.
Change what you get
Path: Settings > Notifications
Click Settings at the bottom of the menu on the left. On your phone, tap the account button at the top (the circle with your first initial), then Settings. Then choose Notifications.
Under "What should we alert you about?", turn each option on or off:
- If a schedule fails or has issues: on by default.
- If the store connection drops: on by default. "Important: schedules pause until you reconnect."
- After every run: off by default. It sends an email for every run, even a successful one.
Under Summary, choose None, Daily or Weekly. To see what the summary email looks like, click See example next to Summary. It appears only when Summary is not None. The first two alert options each have a See email link that shows that email.
For details and what each option means, see PopAutomate email alerts: choose what you get.
- You got a "failed" or "had issues" alert: Schedule run results: what changed in your store?
- You got "Salla disconnected: …": Store disconnected and schedules paused: how to reconnect
