Stop a run that is in progress on your store
Click Stop execution at the top of the schedule page. PopAutomate stops after the product it is changing now. What already changed stays, and the schedule becomes Paused.
Steps
Path: Schedules > the schedule > Stop execution
- Click Schedules in the menu on the left, then click the schedule name. On your phone, Schedules is in the bottom bar.
- Make sure its status is Running. A banner such as "Changing products: 12 of 50" appears, with the number of products left.
- Click Stop execution at the top of the page.
- In the dialog "Stop the run?", you see how many products changed so far and about how many will not change. Click Stop the run.
Result
- PopAutomate stops after the product it is changing now. On Zid, up to 5 products may change before it stops.
- Products that already changed keep their changes in your store.
- In Run history, the run's result becomes Stopped, with the number of products that "didn't run".
- The schedule becomes Paused, so it does not run at its times until you click Activate. The dialog does not tell you this, so keep it in mind. For details, see A schedule paused itself: why and how to turn it back on.
Rules
-
To put the schedule back on its times, click Activate, as in Pause a schedule and turn it back on.
-
In a one-time schedule, stopping ends its only run: it will not run again on its own, even after Activate. To change the remaining products, set up a new schedule, as in Schedule a discount on Salla and Zid.
-
To restore the products that changed before the stop, click Restore on the schedule page, as in Restore prices and products after a schedule ran.
-
Even if you chose Restore it for the end of the offer, do not wait for the restore: what changed in a run you stopped may not come back on its own. Click Restore instead.
-
If you stop a Restore run (the "Restoring products: …" bar), the schedule does not become Paused. Products that did not come back stay as they are, and PopAutomate does not restore them on its own.
-
After you click, the button disappears. Refreshing the page does not cancel the stop request.
-
Moving a schedule to Deleted does not stop a run that is in progress. Stop it first, then delete the schedule.
-
On the Calendar, Stop execution also appears when you click the schedule.
If it did not work
- Stop execution does not appear because the run ended: Schedule run results: what changed in your store?
- The run takes a long time: every 100 products take about 10 minutes. For details, see A run is slow or has not started: why it takes time
- You activated the schedule and it did not run at its time: A schedule did not run on time: why and how to fix it
