A run is slow or has not started: why it takes time
PopAutomate changes your products one by one, at the speed Salla and Zid allow: about 10 minutes per 100 products. You can close the page, and PopAutomate carries on.
What you see
- The schedule has been Running for a while.
- At the top of the schedule page, a banner such as "Changing products: 120 of 300", with the number of products left under it.
- During a restore, the banner reads "Restoring products: …".
- Or a schedule's time came and it did not start, while another schedule in your store is Running.
- Or you clicked Run it now and saw "Your store is busy with another run, or another schedule is queued. Try again in a moment."
Why it happens
- Salla and Zid limit the number of changes per minute, so PopAutomate waits between one change and the next.
- If the platform asks PopAutomate to wait, it waits a minute or more, then carries on.
- PopAutomate runs one schedule at a time in your store. A schedule whose time comes during another run waits its turn.
Fix
The run moves, but slowly
This is normal. Count about 10 minutes per 100 products: 300 products take about half an hour.
- Look at the number in the banner. If it goes up, the run is working.
- You can close the page. PopAutomate finishes the run on its own.
- PopAutomate emails you the result, depending on your alert settings: PopAutomate email alerts: choose what you get.
To see the reason in the app, click Why does it take time? in the banner.
If you want to stop it, click Stop execution. Products that already changed stay as they are, and the schedule becomes paused. Details in Stop a run that is in progress on your store.
A schedule is waiting for another one
- Open Schedules and look for the schedule that is Running.
- Wait until it finishes. The waiting schedule then starts on its own within about a minute. You do not need to click anything.
- If you clicked Run it now and saw "Your store is busy…", try again after the other run finishes.
If you have large schedules at the same time, spread out their times so one does not wait for the other.
The number does not move
Salla or Zid may ask PopAutomate to wait a little before the next change. PopAutomate waits on its own, then carries on from where it stopped.
- Wait 10 minutes, then refresh the schedule page.
- If the number went up, the run is working.
- If a "Paused: the connection to …" banner appears, reconnect your store with the steps in Store disconnected and schedules paused: how to reconnect.
Still stuck?
If the number stays the same for more than half an hour, click Support in the menu on the left. On your phone, tap Contact us in the account menu. The steps are in Contact PopAutomate support on WhatsApp. Send:
- The schedule name and your store name.
- A screenshot of the banner with the number.
- When the run started, and how many products it has.
